Bibles for Believers in Vietnam

Across Vietnam, pockets of Christians of all ages are emerging from the shadows.

Bibles for Vietnam

They’re a part of a nation where generations of people have experienced war, oppression and suffering.

In 1975, the communist government banned Christianity. The Bible became known as the ‘Forbidden Book’ and the government confiscated and destroyed many copies.

In the 1990s, the government allowed Bibles to be printed within the country.

But today there is still a desperate shortage of Bibles for believers in Vietnam.
