Reading (or listening to) your Bible with prayer is a crucial part of a growing spiritual life with God. The Bible Society's vision is to encourage and help people engage with God's Word regularly. Need some help with your Bible reading? Check out some of the resources available. This page is just the beginning of our work in encouraging New Zealanders to read their Bibles.

Facebook - low resCheck out two great new features on Facebook: become a Fan of the Bible and also join the Staus Bar Sermonette Movement.  Fans of the Bible can share their favourite passages with others and hear about what God is doing in the lives of members as they read through the Bible.

The sermonette movement encourages people to write a very short sermon for their status bars.  Check out some awesome one sentence sermons and be inspired!

Facebook is a free online community website that anyone can join.  You can build a network of your friends, keep in touch and join groups like the Sermonette Movement to inspire and share your thoughts with others.
