Then we need your help.
Imagine not having your own Bible!! How would you hear from God? There are lots of people all over the world less fortunate than us who don’t have access to God’s word.
At Bible Society, we’re all about getting Bibles into the hands and hearts of those people.
And now we need your help to get God’s word to people in Australia’s Outback.
This is your chance to make a real difference, to be part of something bigger and to see the direct effects of spreading God’s word to those who don’t have it.
We'll send you and a mate to Australia's Outback to help deliver Bibles to remote communities.
We’ll fly you both to Darwin where you’ll join Bible Society Australia's Flying Bible Man.
You’ll start your adventure at the Katherine Christian Convention where you’ll have an opportunity to serve their local community before flying to other remote communities to deliver God’s life-changing message.
Flights are subject to availability but we anticipate you’ll leave around 3 May 2012 and we’ll have you back home around 13 May 2012.

We’re looking for someone with a real heart for mission, someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, even if they have to fly to the middle of nowhere to do it!
To help us find the right person for this mission, we’ve created some challenges to help you put your passion into action and show us that we should send you.

We’ll post regular Bible devotions that challenge you to put the Word into action in your own neighbourhood.
Share your thoughts and responses to the challenges and you’ll increase your chances of being chosen to go to Australia’s Outback on our mission adventure. The more challenges you respond to, the more we’ll see your passion to change lives!
Winner will be announced in early March 2012.

NB: you only need to complete step 1 to be in this competition.
Steps 2 - 4 are an optional opportunity for you to share with us how much God's Word is a part of your life and could influence who we choose.

Silke Hendel, Bible Society's Marketing Manager, spoke with Clint from Life FM recently about the mission adventure and the exciting things Bible Society are doing at Parachute 2012. You'll be able to take a short flight to Australia's Outback and get a taste of what it'll be like if you're chosen to go on the mission adventure!
Mission Adventure 2010
Last year we sent Bridgette and Heather on a sailing mission adventure to the South Pacific. They had an epic time onboard the yacht Seahawk delivering Bibles to remote islands.
