Twitter is the latest internet sensation.  In short it provides a way of communicating quickly to a group of people, termed ‘followers’.  This is achieved through writing short messages (known as tweets) which once published are instantly received by your ‘followers’ on either their mobile phone or on their computer.  The challenge is that you only have 140 characters for the message, so brevity is a must.  Bible Society have recently set up a Twitter account called Bible4U which provides most days, a short Bible passage plus the occasional inspirational message.
