Busking for Bibles

Sep 15, 2009

On the Northshore, a sermon delivered for National Bible Sunday about the shortage of Bible translations around the world had a profound impact on one young woman, Amanda.
She was so concerned when she heard about the number of languages that still do not have a Bible, that she became determined to do something about it.

So, with Hazel from the North Harbour Action Group in tow, she went busking in Browns Bay, singing hymns and playing the flute.  She raised $70 for the translation cause.  Amanda’s $70 ensures another 3 chapters are translated into another language.

Good on you, Amanda and bless you for your support!
