Rebekkah submerged

The annual Pukekohe Action Group Swimathon took place on Saturday 1 May at the Franklin Pools Recreation Centre. Here’s a great poem that sums up the great evening had by all.
 
Fishes in the water,
fishes in the pool.
People swimming for Haiti
at Pukekohe pools
 
The event was a splash,
with kids and adults swimming,
bringing people hope
in the Caribbean.
 
It’s always impressive
to so see others give
of themselves, time and energy
while having lots of fun
 
Thank you to the action group members,
swimmers and sponsors alike.
Take pride in knowing that you are
helping to change lives.
