The Wanganui Action group put on a Coffee Morning at the Riverside Christian Church on 26 April.

Over 40 people came to hear Mervyn Tucker talk about living and working in Israel and being part of a Messianic Congregation. Mervyn also gave us some history of Israel and spoke of the importance of providing Bibles for Israel as many are coming to be followers of Jesus through reading the Bible. We were pleased to be able to take an offering to support Bible Society’s work to bring the Word of God to Israel.

Thanks to Mervyn and Julia for coming from Hawkes Bay to speak to us and also to the members of the Action Group for putting the event on and providing a lovely morning tea.
