Monday 18 May saw over 60 people attend a coffee morning at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Wanganui. They were there to support the work of Bible Society and to meet and hear our guest speaker the Rev. Gene Lawrence.

Gene is the new Minister at St. Andrew’s and he shared with us some of his life journey, including how he was called into Ministry. He told us that life may not always go as we think it should and it sometimes can be a hard road but we are who we are today only by the Grace of God.

Gene went on to tell us about God’s Word and he challenged us in how we interpret the Bible as we read it.
