Bible Reading Resources

Reading (or listening to) your Bible with prayer is a crucial part of a growing spiritual life with God. The Bible Society's vision is to encourage and help people engage with God's Word regularly. Need some help with your Bible reading? Check out some of the resources available. This page is just the beginning of our work in encouraging New Zealanders to read their Bibles.

"Reading scripture will lead directly to a renewed call to walk in the ways of God. The connection between encountering Holy Scripture and engaging in Holy living is assumed. On this reckoning, the Bible is unlike any other literature.”

Gordon Oliver: from his book Holy Bible, Human Bible
