New Zealand


Bible Society has been working in New Zealand since 1846, over 160 years! The Bible Society is involved in translation, production, distribution and encouraging transformative engagement with the Bible in New Zealand.

We provide Scriptures and Scripture resources to all branches of the Christian church. We are ably supported in this endeavour through an extensive network of volunteers. These volunteers usually consist of Church Representatives who join together into local Action Groups to help promote the ministry and mission of Bible Society.

Bible Society New Zealand has its office in Wellington. However, to enable us to better serve the Christian community throughout New Zealand, we have divided New Zealand into 7 geographic regions. These regions include; Northland, North Harbour, Auckland, Bay of Plenty/Waikato/Eastlands, Central North Island, Wellington, North South Island and Otago/Southland. 

Bible Society is represented in each geographic region by a Bible Society Regional Representative who organises and promotes the work of Bible Society in his/her region. We also have a representative located in Auckland who liaises with Korean churches in Auckland and elsewhere.
