Please be aware, though, that gifts given for Bible mission overseas do not attract a tax rebate. Only gifts for Bible mission in New Zealand attract a rebate. We believe this is an unfair and inequitable imposition by government and we are working to have it removed but at present, the law says there is no rebate for gifts for Bibles overseas (and that applies to all agencies and churches whose prime purpose is the advancement of religion overseas).
