Mission Partner – Supporter Care and Data Administrator

Bible Society is New Zealand’s premier supplier of Bibles and Christian resources through its Bible engagement programmes and its Manna Christian Stores chain. Bible Society also partners with donors to support Bible mission in New Zealand and around the world.

We value our donors and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and relational person to be our supporters’ contact person and champion! The role is part customer service, part relationship manager, and a whole lot of loving what Bible Society and our supporters love – the Bible and its work in the world.

To be right for the role you will:

  • Have customer service experience. It doesn’t have to be phone based – experience in retail or hospitality would be considered.
  • Have some Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system experience, although if you are pretty good with computer systems and tick the other boxes, then we can train you.
  • Be interested in what is happening in the world, and particularly in the Christian church and Christian mission.
  • Have a professional and engaging phone persona, and be willing to make outbound calls (not cold calling though), as well as take inbound calls.

3 x Fixed-term Warehouse Assistant Positions

Manna Christian Stores is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our central Manukau based Distribution Centre for a fixed-term for the period 02 May 2022 to 01 July 2022.  Your role will be to help ensure that our inventory is carefully and accurately shelved, and that orders are accurately picked, packed, and sent to our stores and other customers. 

 

To be right for this role you will –

  • Be able to accurately store inwards goods and to pick or pack orders for dispatch
  • Be willing to work hard and be a team player
  • Have reasonable numeracy skills
  • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg’s safely
  • Be able to work accurately and attend to detail
