HELP BRING THE BIBLE TO THE

BLIND AND ILLITERATE

THE CAUSE

Around the world poverty, illiteracy, and visual impairment are preventing people from accessing the Word of God. In countries such as Guatemala, Angola, Niger, and Bangladesh, Bible Societies are working to bring these vulnerable people the Hope of the Bible by providing Braille and audio Bibles.

This will allow many people to hear or read the Word of God for the first time!

THE IMPACT

By making a gift today, here is the impact you will be having:

  • GUATEMALA: you will be providing Braille Scriptures and supporting a Braille Book Reading Club.
  • ANGOLA: you will be establishing audio Bible listening groups.
  • NIGER: you will be establishing audio Bible listening groups and helping to show the Jesus film.
  • BANGLADESH: you will be establishing audio New Testament listening groups.

The Bible Society of Guatemala supplies Braille scriptures to visual disabled people like Felix and runs a Braille book reading club to connect people to read Scripture.

During the pandemic, they continued reading together via phone and while Felix (pictured above) battled to keep his small business afloat, as well as losing his wife to Covid, he found hope and strength in the Word of God.
