We are focusing on a mission that’s close to our hearts—bringing hope to children and youth living in conflict zones across northern Israel, the Palestinian Territories, and Syria.
These children face unimaginable hardships. Many lose their lives or suffer devastating injuries, while those who survive endure the daily struggles of living in a war-torn environment. As Christians, we’re called to act with compassion and shine God’s light into these dark situations.
The Arab Israeli Bible Society, the Palestinian Bible Society, and the Bible Society in Syria are working tirelessly to share God’s Word with these young lives, despite incredibly challenging circumstances.

A Beacon of light in Syria
In 2011, the Syrian Civil War erupted, affecting the lives of millions, including the nation’s children.
The conflict has affected not only the Christian population’s numbers but also the spiritual lives of its youth. Many young people now view the Bible as outdated or irrelevant, questioning its message amidst the chaos surrounding them. In response to this spiritual crisis, the Bible Society in Syria has committed to a bold mission: to provide every child in Syria with a children’s Bible, featuring simplified text in Arabic or Armenian.
This initiative aims to reconnect children with their faith and strengthen the Church’s future by planting seeds of faith in young hearts, ensuring they have a guiding light to lead them toward Jesus Christ.
