THE CAUSE
Across China, poor, rural Christians are eagerly waiting to receive large-print Bibles. As well, there are many churches where entire congregations are waiting to receive Bibles so that they can engage with the Word of God further.
Your support will help to fund Bible paper so that Bibles can be distributed to them at either subsidised prices or for free.
THE IMPACT
By making a gift today, here is the impact you will be having:
- You will help bring the life-changing message of the Bible to Christians in rural China! For others, it will replace a worn-out Bible whose pages are torn and tattered. For those with poor eyesight, there will be large-print Bibles with a large font. But one thing is absolutely certain. Each Bible will be treasured, read, and re-read because Chinese Christians love the Bible.
Madam Zhang Baohua (pictured above), 68, has been a believer for 33 years.
Throughout her faith journey, she has read her Bible daily seeking to draw on God’s Word and His strength. However, in 2004, her eyesight began deteriorating leading to reading difficulties. Recently, Madam Zhang received a large-print Bible. She explains the difference it has made in her life.
“The larger font size is much easier for me to read. I am now able to read the Bible with ease, and I can continue to draw on the Word to strengthen my faith. Our God is truly the Lord of our lives who makes up for our physical weaknesses and provides for our spiritual needs. I am very grateful for the large print Bible!”
