This Christmas, we invite you to partner with us to help share the good news with children in New Zealand through our newly released booklet called ‘It Begins in Bethlehem’.
This booklet, which gives a fresh perspective on the nativity story with glorious rhymes and illustrations, is the perfect way for the younger generation to engage with the story of Jesus’ birth.
With your support, we aim to give away 75,000 copies of our latest children’s booklet to churches, schools, community organisations and families in New Zealand.
Special message from the CEO
Your gift will help share the story of Jesus’ with the younger generation this Christmas.
Help us share one of the greatest stories ever told!
It’s the story that begins in Bethlehem with the birth of Jesus Christ, the story that is still impacting and changing lives today.
That is why we invite you to partner with us to help share the good news with all New Zealand children through our newly released booklet called ‘It Begins in Bethlehem’.
This Nativity Rhyme for Christmas time, which gives a fresh perspective on the nativity story with glorious rhymes and illustrations, is the perfect way for the younger generation to engage with the story of Jesus’ birth.
You may ask why do we do this?
We do this together to confront our own commissioned Nielsen biblical literacy survey a few years ago that showed that one-third of New Zealand children have never read, heard or seen the story of Jesus’ birth.
This initiative is one of our ways to redress this regretful situation.
With your support, we can give away 75,000 copies of this new children’s Christmas booklet to churches, schools, community organisations and families in New Zealand.
They can order their free copies and also watch and download the ‘It Begins in Bethlehem‘ animated video at www.itbeginsinbethlehem.nz.
Please provide generously so we can missionally reach out with this offering.
How your support helps churches
“Here at C3 Eastern Suburbs, we actively support the Christmas offerings that are provided by Bible Society. It really does get the story of Christmas out there to families and most importantly children.
The material is always great, presented in a way to captivate children with wonder and participation. We have been able to order and distribute significant numbers with our church-based activities around this for our Christmas activities.
Thanks to the Bible Society and their supporters for providing another Christmas product – ‘It Begins in Bethlehem’.” – Glenn, Lead Pastor at C3 Eastern Suburbs.
