WITH CHILDREN IN NEW ZEALAND
THE CAUSE
Over time, the story of Christmas has been told and retold down through the generations. Yet, despite that, there are still many children in New Zealand who have not heard the Christmas story. Recently, Bible Society research revealed that only 31 percent of those surveyed had ever shared the Christmas story with children. If we do nothing, many children will be missing out on hearing the story that is so fundamental to our Christian faith.
That’s why we want to give more children in New Zealand the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus’ birth by providing them with a free copy of a children’s booklet, entitled, “The Impossible Promise.”
THe Impossible Promise
This fun, interactive booklet by author, Bob Hartman, tells the story of Mary and Joseph and the promises that were made to them as they were told they would have a son. The book is full of all your favourite characters from the nativity story and encourages children to engage with them by colouring in and imagining what they are thinking and saying to each other.
