Advocate for Bibles
Bible Society works to promote the Bible in churches and communities through the provision of Bibles and other Biblical resources that are relevant, affordable, and are in a variety of different formats to help meet the needs of all believers. We need Church Representatives and Speakers who can share God’s Word and the mission of the Bible Society to help ensure that all people everywhere can access and engage with the Bible in their heart language. If you enjoy public speaking, relationship building and networking, then you could become a church representative, or speaker for Bible Society New Zealand.
Organise events
Bible Society events and fundraisers provide opportunities for people to connect with the community while raising funds for Bible projects in New Zealand and around the world. These events can range from a bake sale after church or a stall at the local market, to fundraising dinners, Bible quizzes, mission talks or peer to peer fundraising. If you are some-one who enjoys working with people and organising events, why don’t you partner with us and together, let’s fulfil the mission of making the Bible accessible to everyone and encouraging interaction with it.
Volunteer at Events
At different times of the year, Bible Society New Zealand may be invited to attend a conference, a festival, or a special event in different parts of the country. We may need volunteers to help set up and pack down at these events, as well as answer people’s questions or inquiries. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at an event, simply complete the form below, and our Volunteer and Community Service Missions Partner will contact you regarding any events that may be happening in your area or region.
