Welcome to Bible Month 2020 – Engaging with the Bible together.
If you’re not familiar with this annual Bible Society initiative, it’s where we set aside the month of July to encourage Kiwi Christians like you to raise up what is at the heart of Christian life and service – the Bible!
The Bible is all about learning how to follow Jesus and the two free resources we’ve developed for you, based on the Gospel of Luke, have been prepared to help you do that.
To celebrate Bible Month, we also have some great savings for you throughout July at our Manna Christian Stores too. See the specials here.
The story of Jesus – the way he lived and loved, the things he talked about, his death for our sins and resurrection – continues to change lives two thousand years later.
It’s our prayer that this Bible Month you will encounter Jesus in a new and transformative way.

Gospel of Luke – Study guide
Don’t just listen to the Gospel; put yourself in the story. That’s what our 8-week Gospel of Luke study guide is designed to do. It will help you dive deeper into the life and message of Jesus in these four ways.
- Imagination meditations – each week you’ll be guided to pause and then picture yourself in important scenes from the Gospel. What will you hear, see, taste, feel?
- Chapter summaries – These will help you understand the themes of each chapter and how they fit into the overall structure of the Gospel.
- Group discussion points – These sections will help kick start conversations in a group so you can hear God together.
- Reflection time – Each week you’ll be challenged to think about how to take what you’ve been learning and put it into practice.
