Volunteers at work

National Volunteer Week 2020

National Volunteer Week celebrates the collective contribution of
over 1 million volunteers who enrich Aotearoa, New Zealand. National
Volunteer Week 2020 runs from June 21-27. This year’s theme is ‘Te Hua o te Mahi Tahi – The benefit of working together’. Communities are stronger when they work together.

We feel it is only fitting to take this time to join the rest of New Zealand in celebrating this special group of people since their contribution plays a vital role in enriching communities around the country.

A special 'thanks' to all our volunteer partners

Your Bible Society and Manna Christian Stores family would like to take this opportunity to say a big ‘THANK YOU’ to all of our volunteer partners.

Last year, you helped organise 43 events, attended by 2,000 people, raised nearly $30,000 in funds, and helped distribute over 2,400 newsletters and other Bible-mission resources.

Thank you for partnering with us to pray and to advocate for Bible mission in your churches and communities.

Thank you for serving the mission with gladness.

We pray for the Lord’s favour and blessing on you and your families. There are challenging times ahead but with your help we will continue to make the Bible available and accessible in New Zealand and around the world.
