Easter Camps

Each year, more than 12,000 Kiwi youth gather at Easter camps around the country.

Bible Society supports camp organisers by providing specially designed Bible resources aimed  at helping youth connect the ancient Bible story with life in 21st century New Zealand.

Working with Baptist Youth Ministry camps at Mystery Creek and Manfield, the Canterbury Youth Services camp at Spencer Beach, the Salvation Army Central Division, the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand and other churches, we gift Easter biblical resources to 13 camps and more than 12,000 youth.

The Gospel of Luke – FOLLOW

For Easter 2017, we’ve published a special new edition of the Gospel of Luke (New Living Translation). The 2017 Easter Camp edition features chapter summaries to help youth understand what they’ve just read, reflection sections to encourage Scripture meditation and prayer, and also study questions for youth groups. For more information on the 2017 Easter Camp Gospel of Luke, contact Jeremy Woods.

If you run an Easter camp and would like to partner with us in helping youth engage with the Bible, call Jeremy Woods on 0800 424 253 or email him at jwoods@biblesociety.org.nz
