Each year, Bible Societies around the world distribute more than 300 million Bibles, New Testaments and Scripture portions.

This staggering statistic is only possible thanks to the generosity and prayers of faithful Bible a Month Regular Givers.

We invite you to take a moment to read how lives around the world have been transformed by Regular Givers like you below.

South Pacific

To all Bible supporters in New Zealand, our sincere gratitude for sharing your gifts to support Bible work in the Pacific. Without your support we would not have been able to reach as many people as we have with God’s Word. Thank you for working with us in this very important mission. We can never repay you but pray that God will bless you and your family. With our best wishes and prayers!

Ghana

In Ghana, your support contributed to Bible Society being able to distribute 3,500 Bibles to students in schools in the first half of the year, and it undertook seven Bible engagement activities.

‘God, please bless me with my very own Bible’. This has been my prayer for a long time. I am happy I was in school the day that Bibles were shared. God has answered my prayer. Thank you, Bible Society.

Gulf States

To all our supporters and friends in New Zealand,

Although you are miles and miles away from the Gulf States, let me assure you that you are very close to our region. It is because of your prayers and financial support that the geographical distance is very minimal. Your donations to our programmes in the Gulf States allow many migrant workers from different ethnic and language groups to have access to the Bible.

Personally, and on behalf of our staff team in the Gulf: A very big thank you for standing next to us in our ministry. We value your donations and support very much.

Prayerfully and with gratitude,

Dr. Hrayr Jebejian
General Secretary, The Bible Society in the Gulf

Cuba

We are grateful for all the support received and this great milestone in the history of the distribution of Bibles in our country. The project One Million Bibles for Cuba has marked in this nation a before and after, and a new awakening and hunger for the Word of God.

Uruguay

Sometimes words are not enough to describe our gratitude to the Lord, who has provided you, a valuable instrument in His hands, to reach so many people from all over Uruguay with words of hope. Thank you very much for making it possible for lives to be transformed by the Word of God for salvation and eternal life. We pray that the Lord will bless you and reward you greatly.

In our city there are very poor people. The New Horizons Project gives us access to the Scriptures. In our church there are young people and newly married people who are just beginning to read the Bible. It is necessary for them to have the Bible to help them in their spiritual growth.

Slovenia

Dear friends,

I would like to thank you wholeheartedly on behalf of Slovenian Christians. Your support to the Bible mission here means that they will be able to connect with the Word of God in new and transforming ways that otherwise wouldn’t be possible. Thank you for joining us in this effort!

Laos

We have deep gratitude for the generosity of the donors from New Zealand for your support for the Laos United Bible Societies Partnership in the Bible distribution project – Scriptures for the poor and minorities in rural Laos. Praise the Lord that together we are making it possible for the poor and minorities who cannot afford the Scriptures in their heart language to have access to the Bible, so they can meditate and grow in their spiritual life.

Guatemala

Bible Society of Guatemala (BSG) is thankful for the support that has been given to more than 600 families in the country. During the year, through workshops for the prevention of domestic violence and child sexual abuse, more than 1,000 children have been able to learn biblical values and to develop better communication with their parents. We believe that the families of the country will continue to be transformed with the Word of God.

Anelisse Palma
General Secretary, Guatemalan Bible Society

I want to share what I learned in the workshops with other parents who do not know the issues that cause violence and to inform them that we can be alert to situations that arise. I am happy because now my children have Bibles in the format they need, and I have a Bible that allows me to know more about the Word of God. – Edilsa

Egypt

Dear Friends at the Bible Society of New Zealand,

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for all you do to help spread the message of the Gospel in Egypt!

As we look at the many years of partnership, we are overwhelmed with the
generous support and prayers that we have received from the Bible Society in New Zealand towards our many various projects.

We are especially grateful for your generous support towards our Christmas distribution to the poor project. Your contribution goes a long way towards providing 20,000 very deprived, poor children with a colourful backpack full of Scripture books, games and puzzles.

Please pray that God’s Word provided in these backpacks would be a source of Christmas joy and hope for those children whose lot in life seems hopeless.

Also pray that God’s Word would strengthen their faith and work within these young lives, that they may be able to maintain this hope and joy as they grow, even if the surrounding environment is often difficult and discouraging.

With warm greetings,
Yours sincerely,
