The Well Good News of Christmas is going, going, gone! (nearly!)

Well Good Christmas

More than 80,000 copies of The Well Good News of Christmas have flown out the door in just over six weeks.

This little book has been so popular that we’re going to print some more! Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, another 20,000 copies of the free children’s book are currently being printed to meet this demand.

“It’s been a huge success with churches, partner organisations, families and individuals all keen to get their copies in the run up to Christmas,” said Stephen Opie, BSNZ Programme Director.

Churches and organisations have been able to order up to 250 copies of The Well Good News of Christmas and individuals up to five copies.

The second shipment of this fun version of the Christmas story is due in on 7 December. Parents and grandparents are invited to use this book to help pass on the Bible Story of Christmas to the children in their lives.

It’s also hoped The Well Good News of Christmas will reach the 36%* of Kiwi kids who have never seen, read or heard the story of Jesus’ birth.

Also, there are free Nativity Service resources available to enable people to take The Well Good News of Christmas live to their church. These include a helpful pop up nativity play with a script, and a nativity play PowerPoint with accompanying images, saving churches hours of preparation.

Stop press (Friday 14 December) update: we’ve now distributed more than 100,000 copies in just over 8 weeks. Unfortunately we have none left. But you can still download the Powerpoint nativity play for your church. Visit the Well Good News of Christmas website for information.
