These words beautifully reflect the heart of our mission: creating opportunities for people to hear His voice and open the door.
All around the world, Bible Societies are faithfully working—often in difficult and even hostile environments—to share the life-changing message of the Bible. In many places, there is little understanding of Christianity, and in some, open resistance to the Christian faith.
This month, we are excited to share how three Bible Societies—the Bible Society in the Gulf, the Iranian Bible Society in Diaspora, and the Interconfessional Bible Society of Albania—are finding creative and powerful ways to help people engage with Scripture.
THE IMPACT

- Support Bible Society in the Gulf to empower Arabic-speaking church leaders in Kuwait and Bahrain through Bible-based seminars and workshops.
- Enable Bible Society of Albania to launch a Bible hub centre, which will bring together interconfessional Bible scholars and translators to equip believers with a deeper understanding of Scripture and a stronger faith.
- Help the Iranian Bible Society in Diaspora to reach 200,000 Iranian women with the Bible’s message of hope and resilience.

Bring Hope to Migrant Workers in the Gulf
In Kuwait, migrant workers make up over 70% of the population—more than 3 million people from 100+ countries—many of whom face harsh realities: exploitation, unpaid wages, and inhumane living conditions in desert labour camps. Depression and suicide rates are alarmingly high.
Amid this suffering, many are turning to Jesus for hope.
Local migrant churches, often led by new believers, are becoming lifelines. But many leaders lack the biblical training they need to shepherd their communities well.
That’s where Bible Society in the Gulf steps in.
This year, we’re helping train 200 Arabic-speaking church leaders in Kuwait and Bahrain through Bible-based seminars. These sessions explore the lives of Moses, Elijah, Isaiah, and others—strengthening leaders’ faith and helping them teach the Word more clearly.
